Story
Two women with one shared belief.
Although we grew up on opposite sides of the world, Rosalind in New Zealand with Dutch roots and Edith in Switzerland, we arrived at exactly the same conclusion.
Nature had always provided incredible solutions for healthy skin. Yet the skincare industry was becoming increasingly crowded with products making “natural” claims while hiding behind clever marketing and long ingredient lists that few people could understand.
We believed people deserved better.
Solimara is not another pretty bottle or another marketing promise. Our skincare is built on honesty, transparency and ingredients that genuinely belong on your skin.
In 2016, we founded Solimara.
Not because it was easy but because it mattered.
Starting With
Sunscreen
We started with the hardest product first.
Most skincare companies begin with moisturisers, cleansers or serums.
We chose sunscreen.
Why? Because we believe healthy skin begins with protection. Repairing skin is important. Protecting it before damage occurs is even better.
Creating a truly natural sunscreen that actually performs wasn’t easy. It took years of research, countless formulations and an unwavering commitment to never compromise our principles.
That decision shaped everything Solimara has become.
